Family Movie Afternoon with Big Hero 6

Family Movie Afternoon with Big Hero 6 In-Person

Have lunch with Baymax! Families are invited to watch Baymax and Hiro during Lunch at the Library. Free lunch is available for ages 0-18. Others are welcome to bring low-mess snacks. Seating will be on mats on the floor.

Caregivers need to know that Big Hero 6 is rated PG for “action and peril, some rude humor, and thematic elements.”

There definitely are moments when Hiro is acting rude . . . There’s no blood, but certainly some fist swinging, crazy technological weapons, battle sequences with a creepy bad guy and a “scary” Baymax moment. But at the heart of that PG rating, in my opinion, gears more towards the death of Hiro’s brother, Tadashi. Hiro loses his brother during the movie and would certainly have any little kid asking, “what happened.”
